Draco had just put Livvie down for a snooze when his mother arrived via the Floo. “Mum, what are you doing here?” he asked.
She smiled brightly. “It seems like eons since I’ve seen that darling Lily Victoria. Where is she?”
“Sleeping,” Draco replied.
Her face fell. “Oh. Will she be up soon?”
Potter peered out of the lounge and said, “AJ is wide awake and full of energy, if you need some grandmother time.”
Narcissa was all smiles again as she rushed forth to dote on her grandson.
“Thanks,” breathed Draco. “You saved the day and possibly my sanity.”
