Harry was surprised to see Draco back at work already. “I’m very sorry about your wife,” he said as Draco joined him in the lift.
”Thank you. She had been in poor health for some time,” Draco replied sadly.
Harry studied the back of Draco’s neck where his hair curled under until he couldn’t help himself. “Draco,” he said, “I’m in love with you. I don’t want to spend the rest of my life wishing I’d said something now. So I know this is completely inappropriate, but when you’re ready, I’ll be waiting.”
