Summary: Some moments are worth it.
By the time Harry sat down to feed AJ, Malfoy was holding Livvie to his shoulder and patting her back. AJ began to drink, and Harry noticed his son’s eyes were on Malfoy and Livvie.
“She’s not going to steal your bottle,” Harry murmured.
“Sorry?”
Harry looked up to see Malfoy regarding him with confusion. “AJ is eyeing Livvie like he’s sizing up the competition.”
Malfoy’s expression softened. “She’s not going to steal your bottle, young man.”
Harry had a multitude of reasons to regret that initial one-off with Malfoy, but times like this helped to smooth the situation over.
