Harry set the empty bottle aside and settled AJ on his lap. He patted his son’s back until AJ made a rude noise. He then followed it up with a babbling stream of nonsense.

Harry cocked his head and listened intently. “I agree,” he said when AJ fell silent. “The Ministry’s current philosophy seems good on its face, but it may have repercussions in the future.”

Malfoy entered the kitchen with Livvie in his arms. “Who are you talking to?”

"AJ," Harry replied.

"About philosophy and politics?!"

Harry nodded. "It's never too early to introduce the children to broad topics."
