Summary: Harry isn’t watching his step.
After speaking to Hermione, Harry found Malfoy in the lounge. He was seated on the sofa, long legs stretched out and acting as a barrier for AJ, who was sleeping at the opposite end of the sofa. Livvie was awake, cradled in her father’s arms, while the two of them held eye contact.
It was such an unexpectedly touching scene that Harry wasn’t watching his step. He tripped over one of AJ’s stuffies and nearly did a face plant on the floor before he caught himself.
"Alright there, Potter?"
Harry's face grew warm. "Yeah, I wasn't looking at the floor."
