Weasley skulked back into the lounge wearing a disgruntled expression on his face.
“Did she throw you out?” Potter asked him, a teasing glint in his eyes.
“I reckon I can’t even stir correctly,” muttered Weasley. “It’s like Potions all over again.”
Draco wisely kept his mouth shut.
Weasley’s eyes lit on Livvie. “May I hold her, Malfoy?”
Draco tensed, but he reminded himself that Weasley must have dozens of nieces and nephews. He gathered his courage and replied, “Of course you may.”
Weasley bent and carefully lifted Livvie from Draco’s arms. A smile transformed his face, and Draco relaxed.
